THIS PERSON UNDERSTANDS BALLET <3
It’s actually pretty sad how ballerinas are portrayed. They’re always portrayed as dainty, girly, and dare I say fragile. In reality ballerinas are the most hardcore athletes ever.
They train for hours upon hours for weeks. Every practice they do is an intense workout almost to the scale of training for olympic athletes.
They have to be extremely precise, accurate, graceful, strong, disciplined, and flexible and the goal is to make it look easy.
The amount of dedication and gut it takes to be a ballerina is much higher than that of a football player. There is so much more that I could say about this but I’m tired so I’ll leave it at that.
According to a documentary I saw, the amount of pressure on her toe is equal to that of someone standing with an elephant on top of them.

Sometimes people let the same problem make them miserable for years when they could just say “so what”. That’s one of my favorite things to say.
